The Atlanta Beltline is a tremendous oppoetunity for Atl to catch up on green space and pedestrian paths. I am disappointed that it has gone so slowly, but Brian Leary sounds like the right person for the job. His comments on density are prescient.
Good luck!

This is an exciting move. As far as the transit piece, I sure hope only reliable, off-the-shelf solutions are being looked at.... let's not experiment here so we can take advantage of some economies of scale with systems in Charlotte, Dallas, Portland, etc. I'm getting more and more excited about the park developments coming on line so hopefully those will continue to be announced on a fairly regular basis. Good luck, Mr. Leary!!

Excellent choice and a win win scenario. Brian's experience will take the project to the next level and the project will further expand Brian's leadership potential. This is a case of the right person coming aboard at the right time.
and let us all recognize the work of Ms. Montegue in getting the project off of the ground.
