		<description>That headline is incredibly misleading.  The pledge only relates to embryonic stem cell research. With adult and umbilical stem cells showing the most promise of late, we can avoid the &quot;personhood&quot; issue altogether.

We have seen amazing breakthroughs with the adult stem cells that we simply are not seeing with the embryonic stem cells.  The embryonic stem cells seem good for growing tumors and that&#039;s about it.</description>
