As we reflect on the achievements highlighted during last month’s 2026 CVC IMPACT Awards, one thing is clear: the companies recognized this year did more than volunteer. They built connections, strengthened communities, and demonstrated the powerful role businesses can play in creating lasting change.

This year’s honorees, Cox Enterprises, Troutman eMerge, and J.M. Huber Corporation, fostered a culture where service is valued, encouraged, and woven into the fabric of their organizations. Their employees showed up with passion, creativity, and a shared commitment to making a difference. The result was meaningful impact for nonprofits, stronger employee engagement, and healthier communities across the Atlanta region.
Their success reminds us that corporate volunteerism is not reserved for a select few organizations with large budgets or dedicated teams. Every company, regardless of size or industry, has the ability to create positive change. Whether through skills-based volunteering, team service projects, board leadership, or ongoing nonprofit partnerships, there are countless ways to get involved.

As we celebrate this year’s winners, we also challenge more companies to join the movement. The need in our communities continues to grow, and so does the opportunity for businesses to lead. When companies invest in service, they strengthen not only the organizations they support, but also their employees, their culture, and the communities they call home.
Together, we can build a future where volunteerism is not just an initiative but an expectation, and where every company sees community impact as part of its success story. The next award-winning program could start with a single volunteer today. Follow the CVC on social media to stay connected, and consider joining or getting involved to help amplify impact across our community. The power of our impact starts with people like you!
