Comfort Food: Feeding Older Refugees During COVID-19

Every week for years, refugees and immigrants from five Asian countries — all over age 60 — would gather for meals at The Center for Pan-Asian Community Services, or CPACS. This was about more than nutrition; these were community gatherings. The visits also gave visitors a chance to address crucial needs, from interpreting legal forms, to looking into medical problems.

Then COVID-19 hit.
