Join United Way of Greater Atlanta as they present groundbreaking findings from their 2023 Child Well-Being Index at the Gwinnett County State of the Children summit.

In Gwinnett County, there are 77 communities where the resources and support are in short supply. Of these communities, 22 are considered high-risk. Children in these communities are in danger of not reaching their potential due to barriers inherent to where they live. Urgent and transformative interventions to improve the conditions of these neighborhoods are needed.

At this event, you’ll gain understanding of some of Gwinnett’s key collective approaches in the Summit Innovation Lab. This segment showcases novel strategies for data sharing, laser-focused community intervention, and public and private collective initiatives. These innovation strategies aim to tackle the main challenges of at-risk populations in coming years.

Innovation for community impact means groundbreaking ideas, data collection systems, evidence-based decision making, and partnerships to improve service delivery, products, and policies for inclusive and sustainable development that leave no one behind.
