Wendell Burks, Managing Director of Connect the Comet, submits these two renderings of the Silver Comet Trail:
“These photos are edited to show the vision for the future of bringing the Silver Comet Trail into Atlanta. “CTC Trestle” is a vision for the unused CSX Bridge over the Chattahoochee near Bolton. “Bridge Montage” is the unused CSX Bridge over South Atlanta Rd. Tony Aeck put these together to show the proposed route advocated by Connect the Comet to connect the Silver Comet Trail to Collier Rd, then to the BeltLine.”

I think either the description of the photos is wrong or the photos themselves are mis-labeled. From the text: “Bridge Montage” is the unused CSX Bridge over South Atlanta Rd.” However, the photo labeled “Bridge Montage” sure looks like it’s the crossing the Chattahoochee River.Report
