For the second year, Fifth Third is partnering with the College Park Skyhawks to strengthen the community and give some very deserving organizations, individuals and families a night to enjoy the game. Fifth Third was the presenting sponsor for Women’s Day where programming featured an on-court presentation, as well as celebrated women community leaders for their outstanding contributions in their organizations and in the community. During the College Park Skyhawks game vs the Osceola Magic, honorees included Terri Lee, President and CEO of Atlanta Housing; Kathy Wells, CFO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta; Stacey Key, President and CEO of Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council; Emily Carter, Vice President of Development at Goodwill of North Georgia; Jenny Taylor, Vice President of Career Services at Goodwill of North Georgia; Julie Teer, President of the Wellstar Foundation and Taryn Bell, relator and Westside Atlanta community advocate (honored for her strong support of the Grove Park Foundation, Fifth Third’s Empowering Black Futures lead organization in Atlanta).

The event activation is also aligned with Fifth Third’s Community Impact and DEI priorities. The Bank believes diversity and inclusion in the workplace is essential to living its Core Values: serving its customers, delivering financial performance, and being recognized as a leader in building an engaging workplace, a strong supplier base, and vibrant communities. The Bank has Business Resource Groups (BRGs) made up of constituencies of employees and allies who are focused on employee development, community involvement and business innovation. The Women’s BRG was present for the College Park Skyhawks Women’s Day presented by Fifth Third.
