The Atlanta Beltline has relaunched its Resident Resources Guide, a free online resource connecting residents to organizations and programs that support financial stability, homeownership and more. The updated guide is now live at beltline.org/resourceguide.
What’s New
The relaunched guide is designed to make it faster and simpler to find the right resource. Users can now filter listings by topic, and a color-coded layout helps visitors quickly identify the type of support they’re looking for, whether it’s financial counseling, homebuying assistance, or help staying in a home they already own. Each listing includes details on eligibility, contact information and how to access support.
While the Beltline’s programming centers on the 45 neighborhoods along the corridor, the guide’s resources are available to residents across the state of Georgia.
Part of a Larger Commitment to Legacy Residents
The guide is part of the Beltline’s broader effort to ensure that longtime residents can stay in their homes and share in the growth happening around them. As property values rise in Beltline neighborhoods, connecting residents to trusted resources is a critical tool in preventing displacement.
That work takes many forms. The donor-supported Legacy Resident Retention Program provides direct support to help longtime homeowners remain in their homes. The Empower Workshop Series, now in its 10th year, offers free sessions throughout the year on topics such as property tax appeals, estate planning, homestead exemptions and homebuying education. An upcoming session, Staying on Track: A Spending Plan for Real Life, runs Sept. 12 at Pittsburgh Yards and covers the everyday financial habits behind bigger goals, including spending, credit, savings and homeownership readiness. Events like the Beltline’s recent housing fair and upcoming funding fair bring residents face-to-face with providers and programs that can help.
The relaunched guide brings these threads together in one place, giving residents a single starting point no matter where they are in their journey, from building credit to buying a first home to protecting a home that’s been in the family for generations.
