There were lots of bikes on the road that day. Mine was one of them. I own a 40-year old road racing bike.
There were also lots of kids in strollers, on tiny bikes and trikes, as well as people wandering back and forth across the road. I rode the length of the route and back, about 10 miles, and wound up exhausted from clutching my brake pedals and keeping my head on a swivel. Not a criticism, but it was pretty anarchic.
