Kelly Jordan

Kelly Jordan, who has lived in Atlanta since 1968, attended Emory University before he and partners revitalized Little Five Points into one of Atlanta's most eclectic retail districts. In recent years, Kelly has been leading the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance, and he has been active with a host of environmental organizations. Decades ago, Kelly wrote architectural criticism for a weekly Atlanta newspaper, and his interest in natural and built environments is readily apparent in the photos he has been taking for SaportaReport.

    As a white, male Georgia native, I am really tired of these racists making us all look bad in Georgia and the South in general. Enough already! We cannot continue to stay silent. I do not want my children growing up in an atmosphere of division. I am more afraid of them being shot by one of these white nationalists than I am about any overseas threat to this country. We need a state government that takes a hard line with these hate groups.Report

    Great photos! Encouraged by the number of folks who are shown in conversation. Discouraged by the men (without masks for the most part) who wore camouflage and thought guns and zip ties would be needed.Report
