Atlanta is a city on the rise.
Growth, investment, and opportunity are shaping our skyline and our future. But alongside that progress is a reality we cannot ignore: too many of our neighbors are still navigating housing instability, food insecurity, and barriers to long-term stability.
Meeting this moment requires more than any one organization can do alone.
It requires partners — across nonprofit, public, and corporate sectors — working together to build a stronger, more equitable Atlanta.
At Hope Atlanta, we see every day how powerful those partnerships can be.
Moving Beyond Transactions to True Partnership
Corporate engagement in our city is evolving — and that evolution matters.
The most impactful partnerships are no longer transactional. They are rooted in shared values, long-term commitment, and a willingness to engage directly with the work.
That is what makes our partnership with FanDuel stand out.

“We strongly believe in supporting the communities where we live, work, and operate by investing in organizations that are improving people’s lives,” said Keita Young, Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy at FanDuel. “Our goal is to be present in the community, build relationships, and contribute in ways that matter.”
That mindset reflects a broader shift in how corporate leaders are showing up — not just as funders, but as active participants in community impact.
In January 2026, that commitment came to life in a meaningful way. More than 125 FanDuel employees, from the company’s Security & Enterprise Technology team, came together to support Hope Atlanta’s outreach efforts during one of the coldest periods of the year.
Together, they assembled blankets that were distributed that same night to individuals experiencing homelessness during Atlanta’s Point-in-Time Count. While the act itself was simple, the impact was immediate — and deeply felt.
“Experiences like this demonstrate the real impact our employees can have,” Young said. “When those blankets were distributed by outreach teams that same evening, our team could immediately see how their efforts contributed to supporting individuals across the city.”
Moments like these do more than meet urgent needs. They build understanding, connection, and a deeper sense of shared responsibility.
Addressing Immediate Needs — and the Bigger Picture
At Hope Atlanta, we know that homelessness is not caused by a single factor — and it cannot be solved by a single solution. Food insecurity, housing instability, access to healthcare, and economic opportunity are all deeply connected. That is why partnerships that recognize this complexity are so important.

“When someone is worried about where their next meal is coming from, it is incredibly difficult to focus on anything else,” Young noted. “That is why supporting organizations addressing hunger is such an important part of our community impact work.”
By supporting both immediate needs and long-term solutions, corporate partners help strengthen the broader ecosystem that allows individuals and families to move forward.
The Role of Corporate Partners in a Coordinated System
Atlanta’s response to homelessness is built on coordination. Through a housing-first, place-based approach led by Hope Atlanta in partnership with Partners for HOME and community organizations, the city is investing in solutions that are designed to work together — not in isolation.
Corporate partners play a critical role in this system. They help expand capacity. They support frontline outreach. They bring visibility, resources, and momentum to the work. And perhaps, most importantly, they help reinforce a culture of shared responsibility across our city.
For Hope Atlanta, meaningful corporate partnership is not defined by a single initiative. It is defined by consistency, trust, and growth over time.
“Meaningful corporate partnership is about supporting and working alongside organizations to strengthen local communities in ways that are truly impactful,” Young said. “We are focused on building relationships that continue to grow and make a difference over time.”
This kind of partnership creates more than programs — it creates progress. As Atlanta continues to grow, so too must our collective commitment to ensuring that growth benefits everyone.
“As Atlanta grows, we believe our responsibility grows with it,” Young said. “We strive to be an engaged corporate citizen that invests in the local communities around us and evolves alongside the city.
