United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 16th Annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast is here!

This year’s event will center women’s voices in a conversation about entrepreneurship and economic stability, featuring esteemed panelists from various industries, a discussion about financial instability and homelessness in Greater Atlanta, and a chance to support women entrepreneurs at a women-owned business market.

Panelists are Monique Rodriquez, the founder of Mielle Organics, Jewel Burks Solomon, Managing Partner at Collab Capital, and Anne Quatrano, award-winning chef, restauranteur, and author. In a discussion moderated by Juanita Velez, Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Operation at Delta, the three panelists will discuss how they achieved their success and why uplifting women to reach economic stability is crucial to community well-being.

WLB is an event hosted by Women United, a United Way Engagement Group that focuses on economic stability for women and children across Greater Atlanta. Part of this work includes the Motel to Home Alliance, a collective comprised of five nonprofits that works tirelessly to move families across metro Atlanta from permanent to impermanent housing. Event attendees will have the chance to hear about their impact on financial instability and homelessness in Greater Atlanta during a discussion with Joy Monroe, founder of SPARC (Single Parent Alliance & Resource Center).

In partnership with The Village Retail, a company that gives Black-owned brands a space and voice to launch and sell their products, WLB will have its first-ever business market featuring women-owned businesses. The event also takes place during National Small Business Month, a time to patronize small businesses and bring awareness to their impact on local economies.

You won’t want to miss out on the most unique WLB yet!
