The Atlanta Women’s Foundation has announced that Goldie Hawn will headline its “Numbers Too Big To Ignore” Luncheon on Nov. 19.

The Academy Award-winning actress has spent years drawing attention to the mental health struggles facing children and teens through The Goldie Hawn Foundation and its educational initiative, MindUP, according to a statement from the organization.

The foundation’s work focuses on issues including youth depression, anxiety and school violence prevention. MindUP was created to help children strengthen emotional awareness, manage stress, develop empathy and improve concentration and learning outcomes, the statement said.

“As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Numbers Too Big To Ignore Luncheon, we are honored to welcome Goldie Hawn to Atlanta,” said Kari Love, CEO of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation. “Goldie has been a pioneer in advancing conversations around mental health… Her voice and leadership feel especially meaningful in this moment as we look toward the next chapter of impact for women and girls in our region.”

The “Numbers Too Big To Ignore” Luncheon is the foundation’s signature annual fundraiser and typically draws more than 1,600 supporters focused on expanding opportunities for women and girls throughout metro Atlanta.

Since launching in 1998, the Atlanta Women’s Foundation has invested more than $30 million in initiatives supporting women and girls. Previous luncheon speakers have included Madeleine Albright, Maya Angelou, Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, Jill Biden and Laura Bush.

The organization also announced May 15 that its Inspire Atlanta Class of 2026 campaign raised more than $800,000.
