Goodwill of North Georgia recently launched its Clean Tech Infrastructure Academy as part of its mission to put people to work. The academy will focus on teaching the necessary skills for maintaining electric vehicle charge stations, solar energy storage, and other clean energy technologies.

Individuals who enroll in the program will be a part of a rigorous four-week training that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. During the training, participants will receive in-depth education on electrical codes, safety standards, and common EVSE maintenance tasks. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive various certifications, including workplace safety, construction basics, NFPA 70e, and Chargers Helps EVSE O&M certification.
