HOPE Global Forum 2019

In less than 100 days (99 to be exact), hundreds of thought leaders and influencers will converge in downtown Atlanta for the 2019 HOPE Global Forum.

Held May 29-31, this year’s meeting will be hosted in a new location, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. This location is very significant to Operation HOPE and the Silver Rights Movement. It is the same venue where Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. held his last meeting with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in 1967, just before his assassination.

Operation HOPE aims to build on Dr. King’s work of fighting for economic inclusion. That is why our theme for this year’s meeting is, “A Pathway to Prosperity: Building an Inclusive Economy”.

With over 3,700 leaders from 25 countries, the HOPE Global Forum is the largest gathering in the world focused on the empowerment of the poor and underserved. Attendees are from a number of different sectors, including government, entertainment, entrepreneurship, and technology. Past speakers include: Delta Air Lines CEO, Ed Bastian; Rapper, T.I.; NBC News Correspondent, Tom Brokaw; and Washington Post reporter, Amy Goldstein.
