Join us in recognizing Ms. Naeema Gilyard, nominated for NeighborWorks America’s Dorothy Richardson National Award for Resident Leadership! A former CLI member, Ms. Gilyard has been a pioneer in the environmental justice movement for decades. Most recently, she successfully advocated for EPA funding to support the installation of air monitors to collect data on hazardous pollutants in her South Fulton community caused by illegal dumping, trash burning, and industrial warehouses.
