Andrea DeMarco

Andrea DeMarco will be the new CEO of the Arthur M. Blank Family office, effective on Oct. 6, the Blank Family of Businesses announced today.

DeMarco will report directly to Arthur M. Blank, chairman of the Family Office, which includes chief of staff support, family services, security and transportation, while actively learning the businesses and supporting the leaders of each of the portfolio companies.

She will also play a key role in helping Arthur Blank ensure his trustees are fully informed and engaged in all our businesses so they can be an efficient, well-functioning board that provides excellent vision and leadership well into the future.

“This is a critical hire for the organization and for me personally as I work together with the important functions of the Family Office, leaders across our entire portfolio and my board of trustees to continue the work of ensuring a bright future for the entire organization,” Blank said in a statement.

DeMarco has been gaining a clear understanding of the broader portfolio of the Blank organizations, and she has had experience working closely with public and private boards.

Most recently, DeMarco has been president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the first female in that role, which she assumed in 2022. She joined Regent in September 2021 as chief sales and marketing officer, stepping into the role during a pivotal period as the brand resumed operations post-pandemic.

Before Regent, DeMarco spent a decade with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH), advancing through a series of senior leadership positions, including senior vice president of Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG).

Throughout her career, she has built broad expertise spanning sales, marketing, public relations, revenue management, and corporate finance. DeMarco holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Florida International University and a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University.

“It’s an incredible honor to be appointed CEO of the Arthur M. Blank Family Office and to work alongside Chairman Arthur M. Blank and this extraordinary team,” DeMarco said in a statement. “People are the heartbeat of any great organization, and this team leads with purpose, passion, and excellence. I step into this role with heartfelt gratitude and a strong sense of purpose — humbled by the legacy, inspired by the people, and committed to building on the strong foundation already in place.”

DeMarco went on to say that she was impressed with the “values-driven organization where people come first, leadership is grounded in humility and where giving back and doing the right thing is core to every decision.

DeMarco will be filling the position that Dietmar has held since 2020. He held the position of Family Office CEO in addition to serving as COO of AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE). Once DeMarco assumes her role in October, Exler will be able to focus on AMBSE and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
