Runoff candidate Q and A: Board of Education at large

By Maggie Lee

All of Atlanta will get a new school board member in an upcoming runoff election — that had an incredibly close second-place finish.

Kandis Wood Jackson clearly came first with about 43 percent of first-round votes. And a  recount has put Patricia Crayton in second place. We’re asking them what the Atlanta Board of Education has done right — and what needs improvement.

Early voting begins Nov. 27 in various locations. The election is Dec. 5.
