A winter wonderland is coming to a north Fulton city.
The annual Sparkle Sandy Springs nighttime parade and holiday celebration takes place Dec. 8.
The city has expanded the holiday celebration since it began in 2017.
Time Out magazine has named Sandy Springs among its 2024 “spectacular Christmas in the U.S.”
For the parade, City Springs and its surroundings will be transformed with larger-than-life inflatables, walk-around characters, snow machines, twinkling holiday houses and more.

The parade route begins at the intersection of Mount Vernon Highway and Hildebrand Drive, and travels down Mount Vernon before turning onto Galambos Road. The parade ends in front City Hall.
The event will also include a tree and menorah lighting, ice skating to live music, and Sparkle Village and Gift Market with 16 gift vendors and seven food trucks.
Road closures begin at 3 p.m. Festivities start at 4 p.m. That parade will begin at 6 p.m.
Visit the city website for more parade viewing areas and information.
