What I’ve Learned: Garland Favorito, election integrity activist

When it comes to keeping Georgia’s election process honest, Garland Favorito is one of the toughest advocates and critics.

Favorito has been rattling the nerves of many Georgia political elites for 15 years while testing the mettle of the state’s election system.

The retired information technology professional is co-founder of VoterGA, a nonpartisan election integrity nonprofit with thousands of social media followers. Politically, he is independent.

    Keep at it Garland. The People are lucky to have you. The fact that judges are afraid to let these cases move forward suggests fraud occurred at a much greater level than most would suspect.Report

    Absentee ballots that came in torn or crumpled had to be flat scanned and the copy fed into the counting scanner. That’s why some were different stock with no folds. I don’t think everybody understands the new system.Report

      If they were scanned the ‘crumpled’ state of the ballot would be obvious on the scan.Report
