Employers recruiting candidates in skilled trades, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail will take part in the event.

Goodwill of North Georgia and Atlanta Housing will host a job fair at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Roosevelt Hall, 660 Atlanta Student Movement Blvd. S.W. in Atlanta.

Employers recruiting candidates in skilled trades, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing and retail will take part in the event, according to a statement.

Jobseekers will also have access to free resume assistance, interview preparation and additional support through Goodwill’s career services team.

“Starting the year with access to opportunity can be life-changing,” said Keith Parker, president and CEO of Goodwill of North Georgia, in a statement. “By partnering with Atlanta Housing and its Resident Advisory Council, we’re meeting people where they are and connecting them to real jobs, real employers, and real support systems that can lead to lasting economic stability.”

The event is part of Goodwill of North Georgia’s new job initiative, which includes more than 15 career fairs planned across North Georgia this year. The nonprofit says it is seeing rising demand for both its workforce development services and from employers seeking workers.

Goodwill reports job placements increased 11 percent in fiscal year 2025.

“This expanded collaboration with Goodwill of North Georgia is about connecting our residents to real pathways that support stability and mobility,” Terri M. Lee, president and CEO of Atlanta Housing, said in a statement. “Goodwill brings proven career services and training options, and Atlanta Housing brings reach and relationships within the communities we serve. The career fair is the first way the community will see that work in action.”
