MARTA TO HOST STATION YOGA, HEALTH & WELLNESS FAIR, IN SUPPORT OF NATIONAL “GET ON BOARD” DAY
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will mark national Get on Board Day Thursday, April 25, from noon until 2 p.m. at Five Points Station with activities celebrating the health benefits of using public transit.
Get on Board Day is the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) new advocacy campaign to increase support of public transit. Five Points Station will feature a lunchtime yoga session on the Station Soccer field, a mini health and wellness fair, live cooking demonstrations, and popsicles from King of Pops, along with interactive exhibits from Relay Bikes, Georgia Commute Options, Grady and others.

All participants are encouraged to ride MARTA to the event, and yoga participants are advised to register for free prior to the event at www.itsmarta.com/GetOnBoard and bring their own mats.
