With the posting of this week’s story, we reach a milestone, of sorts. When we first started the Stories of Atlanta, we really didn’t have a plan. We just had all of these facts about the City of Atlanta that we found interesting and, with the thought that others might also find them interesting, we said, “What the heck, let’s tell some stories.”
So that’s what we did. We’ve covered the gamut in our storytelling: people, places, things, events…all usual subjects. It’s been fun and because of it, we’ve come to feel a stronger connection with our city.
It is our hope, that our stories will have the same effect on, at least, some who see them. If nothing else, we hope we’ve given our viewers something with which to break the ice at their next party. Social currency, if you will.
