Today, Spelman College announced a grant from The Arthur M. Blank Foundation to support an on-campus creative hub for young entrepreneurs and innovators.

Schmidt Campbell, president of Spelman College, said, “through the support of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation the college can expand its existing Innovation Lab, where the entrepreneurial mindset flourishes at Spelman amidst a community of artists, entrepreneurs, creators and innovators.”
As a result, the college can expand its existing innovation lab where the entrepreneurial mindset flourishes at Spelman amidst a community of artists, entrepreneurs, creators and innovators.”
Formerly called the Spelman Innovation Lab, the funding to establish the Arthur M. Blank Innovation Lab will provide a campus-wide resource for entrepreneurial ideation, unconventional research, experiential pedagogy and exploratory play.
Popular programs like Spelpreneur will live in the lab where entrepreneurs and innovators from multiple disciplines will work together to create new ideas to solve old problems.
“Today’s young entrepreneurs will play an important role in solving many of our society’s most critical issues.” Arthur Blank, chairman of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, said. “We’re pleased to support Spelman in creating a place where students can come together to share and test ideas that will also create more opportunities for positive engagement and growth with the local Westside community.”

3D printers, laser cutters, a 4-axis CNC router and 3D scanner, and many other conventional hand and power tools that make prototyping of just about anything possible will also be available in the lab.
“This momentous gift will allow the College to build on an existing culture of strong innovation and entrepreneurship activity that will help grow a pool of Black entrepreneurs,” Campbell added.

Interesting news, for college students, this could mean the introduction of useful new curricula.
I’ve read about this before, I hope the college has strengthened its innovation lab.
Thanks for useful article!
This amazing news is an Innovation Lab for Entrepreneurship on campus as many students have an opportunity for professional development. Now I am writing a student essay in which I reveal the topic of what is important when entering a college, I took the main information from this source. Thanks to this modernization of the innovation laboratory, there is another strong argument for applying to Spelman College. I hope my essay will be useful for many future students, I really want to write a good paper, and not just an ordinary theory, which is already on the Internet.
I completely agree, when I first saw the information about this program I was very impressed. I’m going to go to college and I’m collecting information on various curriculums, I’m thinking about which one to choose. I already read the information from this article from this source and it largely determined my choice, the big name of the school is not important to me, but the curriculum is important to me.
Hello, I have already seen the laboratory after its modernization and it is impressive. The college campus has become an even more popular destination. According to the source https://edusson.com/buy-capstone-project , it can be seen that now more new student projects start every semester. And it’s great that such attention is paid to the modernization of education.
