Thank you, so very much. It seems so much of our/Atlanta’s history is never acknowledged. Hemphill is someone we would have never known about, except for the street and pumping station. But, would we have ever associated the name with the locations? Doubtful. Atlanta needs all of the history it can get. Beyond the civil war. The men and women who created and still create this city.
