After approving the interim master plan for T.D. Jakes Real Estate Ventures for 95 acres, the Fort Mac Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) board released a press release and some artwork featuring the development.
The Fort Mac redevelopment authority spent more than two hours in executive session before spending five minutes in public session to pass a unanimous resolution approving the preliminary master plan proposed by T.D. Jakes’ and his real estate company.

Here we go again. The board of the Fort McPherson Local Redevelopment Authority is entering into exclusive negotiations with Bishop T.D. Jakes’s Dallas-based real estate firm to sell much of its remaining 132 acres.
About 132 acres of the former fort have yet to be redeveloped.
