At some point, in the hours between the first returns from Miami-Dade County and the announcement Wednesday morning that glitches had slowed the count in Gwinnett County, that old political refrain – “Florida, Florida, Florida” – morphed at least briefly into “Georgia, Georgia, Georgia.”
