‘Brad’s Status’ – Ben Stiller movie is ‘worth a look’
Sometimes, you just have to see a Ben Stiller movie.
Mostly, because he just won’t stop making them.
But “Brad’s Status” is something of a surprise. And while it may not change your mind about Stiller, it could entice you into giving him another look. His movie is certainly worth a look.
The Brad of “Brad’s Status” runs a reasonably successful non-profit in Sacramento. Actually, given that he drives a BMW, “reasonably” is likely a low-ball estimate.

International award to GRTA for program that reduced congestion on toll lanes, to serve NW Connector
A pilot program GRTA tested in 2015 to see if commuters would bite on a financial incentive to shift their commute patterns has won the highest honor from an international toll organization. The program is to be brought back full time in 2018 on the Northwest Corridor, in Cobb and Cherokee counties.

Metro Atlanta leaders, working in concert with state of Georgia, are pulling out all stops to lure Amazon’s HQ2 to the region.
The prospect of winning Amazon’s second headquarters with the potential of 50,000 new jobs has captured the attention of all the major players in the state and the region.
“Amazon is the Olympic moment for economic development in metro Atlanta,” one business leader said of the possibility. Another called it the equivalent of a “corporate Super Bowl.”

Swamped by lawsuits, Mississippi gets reprieve in defense of state flag
The U.S. Supreme Court has given the governor of Mississippi extra time to defend the Confederate battle on his state’s flag. The response had been due Thursday, but the state sought an extension because its law department is busy defending the pending state take-over of the Jackson public school district and a challenge of the state’s parole board by a murderer/arsonist.
